Privacy Policy

Haru Puzzle (the "Service") is a puzzle game offered as a website and an Android app. We take your privacy seriously and handle information as described below.

1. Personal information we collect

The Service has no accounts and does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email or phone number. Your puzzle progress, records and streaks are stored only on your device (browser or app storage) and are never sent to a server. They are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear your browser data. Usage statistics used to improve the Service are collected separately, as described in section 3.

2. Advertising

To stay free, the Service may use Google advertising services (app: Google AdMob, web: Google AdSense). In that case Google may collect and process the following information to serve ads, measure their performance and prevent abuse.

• Your device’s advertising identifier (Android advertising ID) or cookies
• IP address, device and browser information, approximate location
• Interactions with ads, such as impressions and clicks

3. Usage statistics (Google Firebase Analytics)

To improve the Service, we collect usage statistics with Google Firebase Analytics. This includes how you use the Service (starting, finishing or leaving a puzzle, time taken, hint and ad choices), an app instance ID or cookie, device and browser type, language and approximate region. It does not include information that directly identifies you, such as your name or contact details, and the advertising ID is not used for statistics. The data is stored on Google Cloud (Firebase and BigQuery), used by the operator only for statistical analysis, and deleted once it is no longer needed. On the web, you can block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Google Play Games (leaderboards and achievements in the app)

If you use leaderboards and achievements in the app, Google Play Games services processes your Play Games profile (nickname and profile picture) together with your scores and achievements. This information is managed by Google; we do not store it separately. Only times solved without hints are submitted to leaderboards.

5. Notifications

If you turn on daily reminders in the app, they are scheduled and shown on your device. No information is sent to a server for reminders, and you can turn them off at any time in the settings on the Records screen.

6. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed primarily at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Sharing and retention

We do not store personal information such as your name or contact details. The usage statistics in section 3 are analyzed only in a form that does not identify you, and are never sold or shared with third parties. Advertising and statistics information is processed by Google as described in sections 2 and 3.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page with a new effective date.
